Our Client sought permission to replace a number of existing two-storey office buildings and surface car parking with a new business campus, comprising three contemporary five-storey office buildings, including ancillary parking and landscaping, with a total gross floor area of 26,525 sq m on a 1.76 ha site. Tom Phillips + Associates (TPA) acted as planning consultants to Cyril McGuire providing strategic planning advice to the Applicant and Design Team from inception and throughout the process. TPA was the key point of contact with the Planning Authority (Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council), including in the arrangement and attendance at pre-planning meetings.

TPA led all planning aspects of the proposal including coordination of the Application Pack; preparation of the Planning Application documentation; coordination and preparation of the RFI Response and disposal of ‘pre-commencement of development’ planning conditions (planning compliance). TPA have also acted as planning consultants for a number of subsequent amending planning applications on this site to refine and enhance the development as permitted. Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council issued a Final Grant of Permission for the scheme in February 2016, subject to conditions. No physical changes were required to the proposed development and no onerous conditions were attached.
